I think the US blu-ray/DVD is region free, because it had a lot of European languages as subtitles like Italian, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, plus a lot of Asian language. Language you usually don't find on US releases. It might also been released on video in other European countries. In my country, Norway, I could only find it on the Norwegian itunes store, but it was released at the same time as the US. I assume the UK is the only one that has different distributor.
