DICKINSON — Students and staff at Dickinson Middle School (DMS) celebrated Constitution and Citizenship Day with a special assembly Friday morning.
First created in 1952 by a joint resolution of Congress, Constitution and Citizenship Day is celebrated every year on Sept. 17 to commemorate the signing of the United States Constitution in 1787.

Speeches on the history of the Constitution and the Star-Spangled Banner followed before School Resource Officer Sgt.
