Assistant Commissioner David Teboul facing 3 charges stemming from 2 complainantsAn RCMP Pacific region commander has been charged with assault in an off-duty incident in Abbotsford in July. RCMP Assistant Commissioner David Teboul was charged with one count of assault and one count of assault by choking in connection to one complainant, as well as an additional count of assault from a second complainant on Thursday (Sept. 18), according to a news release Friday from the B.C. In that time he has worked in the homicide unit and was in charge of the RCMP's anti-corruption unit before joining B.C. He was then named as officer in charge of 'E' Division, the federal RCMP's unit in B.C. A little more than a year ago, in March 2024, he was appointed to the rank of assistant commissioner for the Pacific region, which includes B.C.
