WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Derek Schmidt (KS-02) announced today that his office is now accepting applications from Kansas students seeking nominations to attend the United States military service academies for the Class of 2030. Each year, Members of Congress may nominate a limited number of candidates for appointment to the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), the U.S. Applicants seeking nomination from Congressman Schmidt also must reside in the 2nd Congressional District. A complete application packet must be submitted to Congressman Schmidt’s Topeka office by October 15.
