Reading Time: 2 minutesMalta Public Transport announces that on Monday, 22 September 2025, it will be transitioning to the Winter Schedule. Routes X1A (Ċirkewwa – Università ta’ Malta), 150 (Lascaris – MCAST) and 207 (Marsa P&R-Naxxar Higher Secondary) will resume operations on 22 September 2025 to coincide with the beginning of the scholastic year. The following routes will have a change in frequency between Monday and Friday as from 22 September 2025. Frequencies will be increased on Route 43 (Valletta – Naxxar), Route 61 (Valletta – Ħaż-Żebbuġ), Route 72 (Valletta – Qrendi) and Route 73 (Valletta – Żurrieq). At the same time Route 212 (Tas-Sliema – Buġibba), Route 221 (Buġibba – Ċirkewwa), Route 222 (Tas-Sliema – Ċirkewwa), Route 223 (Buġibba – Għajn Tuffieħa), Route 225 (Tas-Sliema – Għajn Tuffieħa), Route 310 (Rabat, Għawdex – Dwejra), Route 322 (Mġarr – Marsalforn) and Route 53 (Valletta – Rabat) will revert to the winter frequency.
