Helena Old Town Live closes 2025 season with Oktoberfest celebration Published 3:36 pm Tuesday, September 23, 20251 of 71Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...By DANIEL LOCKE | Staff WriterHELENA – More than 3,000 people came out to Helena’s Amphitheater Park on Saturday, Sept. 20, braving the heat for an Oktoberfest celebration to cap off the 2025 slate of Old Town Live events. Some of the celebration’s signature moments included stein hoisting and keg tossing competitions as well as a dachshund race. Texas Flood played a 1.5-hour set as the celebration’s main event, closing out a full day of Oktoberfest fun in Helena, and bidding farewell to 2025’s Old Town Live events. Helena Police Chief Mike Wood took the opportunity to make one, as well as Woodman, during his last Old Town Live event on the Council.
