A woman was hospitalized and a suspect was taken into custody after a domestic incident ended in a shooting in Pembroke Pines on Tuesday morning, police said. Pembroke Pines Police officials said officers responded to the area of Northwest 78th Terrace and Northwest 3rd Street after receiving reports of gunshots. "When I heard it, boom, boom, boom, I knew it wasn’t firecrackers, so I peeked out the door, 'don’t let me get hit with no bullets now,' peeked out, that’s when I saw the guy, boom," Derrick Williams said. NBC6 NBC6There was a second scene outside a gas station in the 6200 block of Hollywood Boulevard where it's believed the suspect may have been taken into custody. Police later confirmed that a man related to the shooting was taken into custody by Hollywood Police.
