A Simsbury, Connecticut, family had an unexpected and unwelcome houseguest on Sunday night when a bear broke into their home, rummaged through food and left only after being scared off by police. The same bear returned the following morning, prompting wildlife officials to set a trap in hopes of capturing the bold intruder. Inside the home at the time was her 17-year-old daughter, Meilin Lemis, who was asleep. “I look out the bay window, and the bear is there again at my front door trying to get in,” she said. I have a dog, I have a family,” Lemis said.
