Combustible dust incidents continue to cause devastating fires and explosions across industry sectors, often because facilities lack a clear and defensible basis of safety. This webinar will provide a practical, step-by-step approach to establishing that foundation—through inherent safety, prevention, or protection strategies. Attendees will learn how to evaluate dust hazards, select appropriate safeguards, and align with recognized standards such as the relatively new NFPA 660, Standard for Combustible Dusts and Particulate Solids, as well as gain practical insights to build or enhance their combustible dust safety programs. Before joining DEKRA, Mike was the global director of Safety and Loss Prevention at Dow Corning Corp., where he led the company’s Occupational and Process Safety programs.
