Amazon launched Kindle Recaps back in April for their e-readers and said the feature would be coming soon to iOS devices, such as the iPhone. The Kindle app for iOS has just been updated, and Kindle Recaps is now available for users in the United States. Kindle’s new Recaps feature works much like the “Previously on…” segment before a TV show. To access Recaps on the Kindle app for iOS, customers can download the latest Kindle app from the App Store (version 7.40.1 or higher is required). To determine whether a series has Recaps available, look for the “View Recaps” button in the series page in your Kindle Library.
