Amazon has been rumoured to be working on a 6 inch Kindle Color for the better part of a year and ditto with the Kindle Scribe Color. Amazon has just invited select media to an unusual hardware event and industry insiders believe at least the Kindle Scribe Color will be unveiled. The Kindle Scribe Color will likely have a 10.2-inch display and the black and white resolution will be 1860×2480 and 300 PPI, while the color resolution will be 150 PPI. The Kindle Scribe 2 had a 1GHz MediaTek MT8113 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of internal storage. Amazon fast tracked the Scribe Color, likely due to the success of the Remarkable Paper Pro, Remarkable Paper Pro Move, and various other devices from BOOX., The Scribe Color might be slightly more expensive than the Scribe 2, but likely not by much.
