FARMINGTON — James F. Wilbur, Jr., known as Sam, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Sandy River Nursing Center. He awoke to life eternal in heaven with his savior, Jesus. He has now had a wonderful reunion with those that went before him. Sam was the first-born to Francis & Junie (Dunton) Wilbur on October 3, 1937, followed by John Lewis, Robert Forest and Carlene Violet. Sam also had two other siblings from his father’s first marriage, Glendon Wilbur & Merilyn Wilbur Scribner. Sam lived in Kingfield for 13 yrs of his life until his family moved Source
