Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Bryan David Hunt, has officially resigned from his post. Chargé d’Affaires Jared Yancey will continue to lead the U.S. Mission in Sierra Leone. Ambassador Hunt, who served for two years in Sierra Leone, was praised for his efforts to strengthen the partnership between the United States and Sierra Leone. “I have loved every moment of my time in Sierra Leone and deeply admire the work you all do to advance the U.S.-Sierra Leone relationship,” he said. Ambassador to Sierra Leone on August 23, 2023 and succeeded David Dale Reimer in the role.
