Thousands attend festivals as 'antidote' to far-right march

Tower Hamlets Council hosted the celebrations to honour east London's migration history and cultural diversity.
An estimated 20,000 people attended the Curry Festival, while 2,500 people joined the Town Hall celebrations.

"But this weekend show that the East End remains united and that the forces of division will never prevail here."
