NATIONAL: Hilton is celebrating a major milestone: More than 200 hotels are now open and welcoming travelers across Canada. This annual light art festival, launched in 2023, features works by local artists and is centered around the theme of light. OTTAWA: From June to August 2025, Ottawa saw a 5% increase in overall hotel demand and a 7% increase in visitor spending compared to the same period in 2024. Data shows that July 2025 set a benchmark as the busiest July ever recorded in Ottawa, surpassing the previous high from 2019. Beginning summer 2026, Air Canada will return nonstop to Shanghai and Budapest, and will also add flights to Prague.
