Minister launches second Garda Recruitment Campaign of 2025Fianna Fáil TD, and party spokesperson on Justice and Defence, Tom Brabazon, has welcomed the second Garda Recruitment Campaign of 2025, announced by the Minister for Justice and the Garda Commissioner. This reaffirms the Government's commitment to recruiting an additional 5,000 Garda í over the lifetime of this Government. Speaking about the campaign Deputy Brabazon said: “I am delighted to see so much proactivity when it comes to recruitment within the Garda í. This is the second Garda Recruitment campaign of the year, and it reaffirms the Government's commitment to adding 5,000 more Garda í to the force. He said that becoming a member of the Garda í is a privilege, and a job worth doing.
