Palestinian journalists owed debtDavid Robie, author and editor of Asia Pacific Report, said the world owed a huge debt to the Palestinian journalists in Gaza. “The Palestinian death toll of journalists is greater than the combined death toll of all these other wars,” he said. Six journalists died that day in an air strike, four of them from Al Jazeera, which is banned in Israel. He condemned the New Zealand media for republishing some of these “counter-narratives” without question.
