According to Porsche, its next all-electric Cayenne will be the first model in the brand line to have optional wireless charging technology. Porsche will also start to provide such convenient technology to electric vehicles: The new, all-electric Cayenne will become the first Porsche model that could be equipped with the optional inductive charging floor plate, as Porsche Newsroom announced. All the Cayenne does to trigger the process of charging is to park over the floor plate. Porsche Wireless Charging will also be available in the My Porsche app, thus allowing tracking of the charging processes. The wireless charging is also available in convenience features that are familiar with AC charging, like departure timer with cabin preconditioning.
