Gloucestershire is famed for its thriving sports community, from horse racing, cricket and rugby to cycling and football — but did you know, you can see national and international racket tournaments in Cheltenham, too? As a major venue with excellent facilities, the governing bodies — including LTA, England Squash and the PSA (Professional Squash Association) — entrust East Glos Club to run some major tournaments, bringing world-class talent to the county. A selection of major tennis tournaments are hosted at the venue, spanning junior to adult — including the LTA County Cup. Possibly the UK's oldest tennis event, dating back to 1895, East Glos has hosted it as a preferred LTA venue for many years. And all the events are free to watch, with East Glos welcoming the community to do so.
