Rogen and Goldberg also took home best directing, while the series itself won best comedy series. Drama fans celebrated The Pitt, which took home three Emmys, including best drama series. Meanwhile, Jean Smart took home best actress in a comedy for Hacks, and Hannah Einbinder won best supporting actress in the same show. Prior to the main show, most awards were presented at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 6 and 7.
