FedEx is using five new zero-emission all-electric Nissan e-NV200 vehicles for pickups and deliveries in the Belgian cities of Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp. The five Nissan e-NV200 vans joined FedEx’s 150-strong Belgian vehicle fleet this month. Erik Uljee, the newly-appointed vice president, Ground Operations Benelux, FedEx Express, commented: “When it comes to road network and transport, Belgium is a key player. “As the world’s largest express distribution company with unmatched infrastructure and latest technology, FedEx aims to make a real difference in shaping the future. We also apply our logistics expertise to reduce empty miles when vans travel with less than optimal loading.
