STRATFORD Town have appointed former Premier League defender Paul Robinson to the club’s management team. Robinson will aid current Bards head coach Paul Davis following the club’s difficult start to the Southern League Premier Central season. The 46-year-old made 175 appearances for Birmingham City and also featured for West Bromwich Albion and Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League. Bards head coach, Davis added: “We’re delighted to welcome Paul Robinson, a vastly experienced and highly respected figure in the game who joins our first-team management. He’s a brilliant bloke.”Stratford currently sit bottom of the table and are the only club yet to pick up a point in the Southern League Premier Central this season.
