WARWICKSHIRE missed out on a place in the semi-finals of the One-Day Cup following a 21-run home defeat against Sussex. And the result saw Warwickshire finish fourth in Group B, four points behind Yorkshire, Somerset and Middlesex. Sussex won the toss and elected to bat as Tom Clark (82) top scored for the visitors. In reply, Warwickshire looked well-placed to mount a charge for victory as Ed Barnard (82) and Alex Davies (74) both scored half-centuries. The hosts lost their final six wickets for the addition of just 30 runs to also miss out on a semi-final place in the process.
