VIRTUAL reality is helping fight knife crime in Stratford district. The initiative, designed by Virtual Decisions and funded by Stratford District Council alongside Warwickshire County Council and The Office of the Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner, is being offered to schools, colleges and youth organisations. It has been taken up by seven schools and colleges in the district so far and has proved a success with students and staff alike. A staff member at one school said she had never seen her pupils so engaged and for that length of time. SDC’s law and governance spokesperson Coun Natalie Gist added: “A key focus of the work of community safety partners in Stratford and across Warwickshire is to prevent crime and devasting impacts it can have.
