BIRMINGHAM Bears saw their T20 Blast Finals Day hopes dashed for the fifth year in a row following a final-over collapse against Somerset. The Bears suffered a fifth successive quarter-final exit after Ed Barnard conceded 19 runs in a disastrous final over at Taunton. However, Tom Abell (51) and Dickson combined to stun the Bears as the latter hit five fours and six maximums. Needing 19 runs from the final over, Barnard (0-40) bowled a wide with his first deliverity before Craig Overton ran a single. Dickson then proceeded to hit consecutive sixes and a four before running a single on the penultimate ball to stun the Bears.
