THERE was plenty to tickle the taste buds at this year’s Stratford Food Festival. The foodies paradise took over the town centre on Saturday September 20 and Sunday September 21, with over 100 food and drink stalls, a live cookery stage, as well as activities and entertainment. Leading local chefs and local culinary stars created seasonal dishes on the cookery stage. There were live demonstrations with Nick Rowberry from The Boathouse and cocktail making with Shakespeare Distillery all hosted by local food influencer Bia Rodrigues-Perry. Hands-on workshops, kids’ cook-alongs, and foodie crafts were also on the menu, as was an eating contest and live music, including Stratford favourite The Texan Peacocks.
