NamWater on Thursday issued a statement confirming that supply capacity has not changed and remains stable in Rundu, following concerns raised regarding water supply and pressure.
“It is therefore important to note that the root cause of the low-pressure issues recently reported does not lie within NamWater’s bulk supply system.
The challenge is most likely linked to the internal reticulation network of the Rundu Town Council (RTC),” they stated.
They encouraged affected residents to seek further clarity from the RTC, which is responsible for distribution within the town.
With regards to a recent public notice circulated by the RTC, the company stated no consultation took place prior its release, despite contact details being included.
