The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has issued an urgent reminder and enforcement notice regarding the unauthorized use of its official logo by political parties, organizations, associations, and individuals planning to participate in the upcoming 2025 Regional and Local Authorities Councils elections. The ECN expressed grave concern over the continuous and unauthorized use of its logo. The commission stated that the use of its official logo by any entity in campaign materials is strictly prohibited. All political entities and individuals are directed to immediately cease from any unauthorized use of the ECN logo in their campaign materials. The logo represents the Electoral Commission of Namibia itself, and its use by any other entity is not permitted.
