Morocco’s Ambassador to the United States, Youssef Amrani, highlighted Morocco’s approach to public-private partnerships (PPP) on Sunday at the “P3 Summit for Change” in New York, a high-level gathering that brought together global business leaders and government officials ahead of the UN General Assembly, Morocco’s press agency (MAP) reported.
The summit was convened to explore strategies to strengthen PPPs as engines of growth and innovation.
Ambassador Amrani presented Morocco’s model as one rooted in credibility, determination, and an inclusive growth agenda.
He highlighted that in Morocco, the private sector plays a central role in driving national development rather than acting solely as a supporting partner.
These measures, he said, have positioned Morocco as a natural hub for international companies looking to expand into Africa, Europe, and the Atlantic region.
