The government is moving forward with the Statelessness Determination and Protection Bill, a legislative effort aimed at addressing statelessness and ensuring that all eligible citizens have a legal identity.
“All these efforts are aimed at achieving the goal of providing legal identities to all eligible persons in the Republic of Namibia,” he added.
“We should rededicate ourselves to closing any remaining gaps so that no one in Namibia is left behind,” he said.
Daniel said this matters as Namibia has not yet achieved 100 percent birth registration coverage, making us part of the global statistics.
He urged commitment to a Namibia where every identity is protected, every person is included, and every life is empowered.
