The ethical use of social media campaign is part of a government initiative to promote behavioural change by emphasizing responsible and decent digital online communication practices. “This campaign, initiated by a cabinet directive, seeks to encourage and educate all social media users, organizations, and institutions to participate in social media activities respectfully, truthfully, responsibly and constructively to support nation-building efforts,” the minister stated. The sessions concluded with a strong reminder that the ministry’s Khomas Regional Office will continue educating residents in the region about the ethical use of social media.
