Harriet B. Smith, age 89, of Sturgis, passed away peacefully at her home early Sunday morning, September 21, 2025. Harriet was a lifelong resident of Sturgis and a proud member of the Sturgis High School Class of 1954. On July 23, 1965, she married Martyn H. “Bear” Smith at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 29, at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis.
