Governor David Ige announced Monday at his COVID-19 briefing that starting this Wednesday, April 1, there is a mandatory 14-day self quarantine for anybody flying interisland. Governor Ige said there will be exemptions for essential workers, including the flight crews. Some health care workers will also be exempt, but they will be asked to wear Personal Protective Equipment while working. A mandatory 14-day quarantine already exists for people coming in from out of state. Ige said there will be more detail about who might be exempt from the interisland quarantines coming soon.
