Australasian e-waste manager Greenbox Group has acquired ICT asset disposal and data sanitisation service provider EraseIT from Interactive, reinforcing its Australian presence. The decision to purchase EraseIT came down to a shared focus and complementary operations, according to Greenbox CEO Ross Thompson. Interactive CEO Alexandra Coates said the deal sets both EraseIT and its now former parent company up for “long-term success”. “As part of Greenbox Group, EraseIT will be at the forefront of cleantech innovation and circular economy leadership across Australasia. For Interactive, this move is a direct reflection of our Unite28 strategy—sharpening our focus on core products and services.”
