In addition, the volume of tea exports increased by 7.29 % in August 2025 compared to the same month in 2024. Export earnings from Seafood increased by 32.97 % to US$ 18.43 Mn in August 2025 compared to August 2024. Export earnings from Ornamental fish decreased by 2.94 % to US$ 1.65 Mn in August 2025 compared to August 2024. Export earnings of Coconut & Coconut based products increased by 38.05 % to US$ 786.64 Mn during the first eight months of 2025 compared to the last year.
