A recent job posting from CD Projekt RED suggests that Cyberpunk 2 — or whatever the official title of the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 will be — could include an online multiplayer component. Among the roles the Polish studio is looking to fill for the new game, one stands out: Lead Network Engineer. Back in January of last year, CCO Michał Nowakowski said in an interview that the team was considering multiplayer elements for Cyberpunk 2 . It’s worth remembering that Cyberpunk 2077 was originally planned to include a multiplayer mode, but it was canceled in 2022. For confirmation, we’ll have to wait for official announcements from CD Projekt.
