In the second quarter of 2025, graphics card sales saw an unexpected increase of 27% compared to the previous quarter, according to data from Jon Peddie Research.
Nvidia Dominates the MarketThe desktop discrete graphics card (AIB) market was the most affected, with shipments rising 27%, reaching 11.6 million units.
Nvidia strengthened its lead with a 94% market share, while AMD and Intel together held just 6%.
In addition, desktop CPU shipments rose by 8% compared to the previous quarter, reaching a 33% market share.
