AMD has decided to relaunch its legendary entry-level processor, the Athlon 3000G, a chip that returns to the market with new packaging and an updated cooling system. Athlon 3000G Returns with New Cooler and PackagingThis CPU, with two cores and four threads under the Zen architecture, originally appeared in 2019 as the successor to the Athlon 200GE series. It features 4 MB of L3 cache, a 35 W TDP, and clock speeds of up to 3.5 GHz. Its launch price remains around $40, making it one of the most affordable options in AMD’s current AM4 lineup.
