The incident, which happened at approximately 2pm, also saw the lifeboat and coastguard attend. A local resident was the one to raise the alarm, alerting the emergency services to what they believed to be a “mental health crisis”. “There were moments when she was going further out in to the sea and closer to rocks on Nell's Point. “I feel if we weren't there and the beach was empty at some point something tragic may have happened.”South Wales Police confirmed the incident.
