Local nonprofits to team up for annual holiday donation event Published 11:04 am Monday, November 17, 2025Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...NILES — The “one stop, one drop” charity donation event known as the Day of Donation is returning to Niles for its third year in December. The idea to create a single location for such donations became a reality in 2023 and has continued to grow each year. They will also have a limited population of long term animal residents that are in need of fostering or adoption. She also asked that everyone help spread the word about the event on social media, church bulletins, or anywhere else so they could make this the biggest Day of Donation yet.
