The NCAA Division II football playoffs will feature two Missouri programs in their field of 32, including a school ending a 31-year drought. For the first time since 1994, the Truman State Bulldogs have qualified for the D-II playoffs. The Northwest Missouri Bearcats will make their 27th appearance in the NCAA playoffs as co-champions of the MIAA. The Bearcats are coming off a 27-14 loss against Pittsburg State to enter the playoffs with a 9-2 record. The first round of the playoffs will take place Saturday, Nov. 22.
