Douglas Rotary Club recognized several of its members who served in the U.S. military at the club’s November 13, 2025 meeting celebrating Veterans Day. Col. Courson grew up in Coffee County and graduated as class president of West Green High School in 1955. In retirement he continued to fulfill key Veterans Affairs and community development efforts. Douglas Rotarians present who were recognized for their military serviceincluded Milton Clements, Gene Haskins, Paul Elliott and Frank Paul. Visitors and prospective members who are interested in personal and professional growth and community service are always welcome.
