The Door County United (DCU) cooperative high school girls swimming team closed out its season at Friday’s WIAA Division 2 state swimming and diving championships at the Waukesha South High School Natatorium. DCU, which qualified for state in two events, tallied seven points to place 29th in the team standings. Whitefish Bay (382) won the Division 2 team title for the second year in a row. Whitefish Bay senior Anne Dickinson won the race in 1:47.6, which also set a new Division 2 state meet record. Whitefish Bay won the event in 3:27.06, more than 10 seconds ahead of the rest of the field and the third-fastest time in Division 2 history.
