Man of Tomorrow is officially bringing Brainiac to the big screen, after months of speculation, the villain has been confirmed as the main antagonist in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman sequel, and now, it looks like we’re getting an idea of who might play him. Bang is known for his chilling and commanding performances, especially in Bad Sisters, and could easily bring a cold, intellectual menace to Brainiac. What’s interesting, though, is Gunn’s continued approach to casting actors who aren’t necessarily A-list household names. Whether this is about keeping budgets tight or simply finding the right talent to fit the role, it’s working. Fans seem pretty hyped for Man of Tomorrow and it’s set to hit theaters on July 9, 2027.
