A mom feared life would never be the same after her baby was diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth, but she was wrong. Rachel Morris, from Utah County, Utah, posted her confession in a reel on Instagram (@rach.mo) featuring clips of her daughter Rosie. With no prior understanding of Down syndrome, Rachel felt crushed by the avalanche of risks and complications her medical team detailed in the hours after birth. The mom added: "With time, I learned that Down syndrome itself was nothing to fear. It has been the most beautiful gift of my life, and our day to day with Rosie feels full, joyful and incredibly normal."
