Forty-one percent of respondents said they would plan to vote for Collins, while 49 percent said they would vote for a Democratic candidate, according to the survey. If Collins votes in favor of extending the tax credits, 43 percent of respondents said they would vote for Collins, while 45 percent said they would vote for the Democratic candidate, the poll found. On the Democratic side, Mills and Platner are facing a contentious primary to face off against Collins. It surveyed 783 Maine voters from October 26-29 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
