(Contributed photo)The Gonzales Lady Apaches cross country team placed first in Saturday’s Gonzales Invitational at JB Wells Park. It was the second win of the season for the Gonzales girls varsity team and their first on a full course. Lady Apache teammate and senior Jordyn Gonzales placed second with a time of 12:40.93. The Gonzales Apaches boys varsity team recorded a third place finish at the meet with a team score of 59 points. Gonzales teammate and senior Ckristofer Ramos placed second overall and clocked in at 16:13.88.
