Couple Shelby and Joe Maddock began making music under The Plastic Cherries name during the pandemic. When they moved from Portland back to Salt Lake City (where they had met), band members Burdick, Hamilton and Cox joined the band. I’ve really fallen in love with our music and this group.”The band’s new album, Sunshine, has been available on streaming platforms since last fall. Since the album was a pandemic project, it was recorded at home, giving it a bedroom pop kind of feel.
