The good news is there are simple ways to slice your program and still get in an effective workout—and it’s all about how hard you’re training. And you really don’t have time for an aching hip or busted knee. Don’t feel like you need to hammer every single tiny muscle in every session (unless you’re a competitive bodybuilder). I’d rather you cut your reps short at a really hard weight than do more with an easy weight. Be more selective with the exercises you’re programming, prioritize compound exercises, and go hard on the program you land on.
