Eliot - Marguerite M. (Carelli) Mirisola died peacefully, surrounded by the love and care her children showered on her. Known as "Marge" (or "Margie," and affectionately as "Maggie" by her predeceased husband Louis, who she shared a blessed life with for 66 years), she grew up in Lawrence, MA and created a beautiful life for her family in Andover, MA, and later moved to York, ME, enjoying decades in this beautiful coastal community. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Louis G. Mirisola. As well, by her parents, Louise (Hart) Rappazo and her husband; and her father, Francis Carelli. Marge leaves behind her beloved brother, Frank Carelli and his spouse Maty of Palm Coast, FL; along with her cousin Geraldine and "Butch" Barry in Seabrook, NH; Dick and Jean Rappazo in Haverhill, MA; and her brother- and sister-in-law, Bob and Pat Mirisola, of York, ME, who all miss her dearly already. She is survived by all her seven children, David Mirisola and his spouse Lyni, Mathew Mirisola and his spouse Ric Ide, Louise Slattery and her spouse Kenneth, Carol (Cam) Mirisola-Bynum and her spouse Robert, Patricia Byam and her spouse Steven, Paula DeForitis and her partner, Alex Medeiros, and Ellen Rothwell and her spouse Matthew. Marge was the very proud grandmother of 20 grandchildren—including those by marriage—and 11 great grandchildren. Marge is also grieved by many nieces and nephews who brought such pride and joy to her. Marge and Lou, devout Catholics, attended St. Christopher's in York, ME. Marge was loved and cared for very well and will be missed deeply. The family welcomes family and friends who would like to celebrate Marge's life. And feel free to share a joke and some laughter with them. Marge would love that.
